Every town in Nassau + Suffolk. Based in Hempstead.
We cover the full 45-mile radius from the shop. Most jobs are within 20 minutes of Hempstead, and our crew knows the permit process in every town we work in.
Why your town matters for electrical
Long Island is not one market. Nassau and Suffolk have different permit requirements, different housing stock, and different utility quirks. A panel upgrade in Long Beach (salt air, flood-zone grounding, strict building codes after Sandy) is a completely different job than one in Smithtown (inland, wooded lots, longer service drops).
We have done 3200+ homes across both counties since 2011. That means we know which towns require engineer stamps on service-entry drawings, which have historic-district restrictions on exterior meter placement, and which neighborhoods still have original 1950s Federal Pacific Stab-Lok panels that need to go.
Nassau County electrical projects
Most of our Nassau jobs are within 15 minutes of our Hempstead shop. The housing stock is dense: Levittown Capes, Garden City colonials, Massapequa ranches, Long Beach bungalows. Typical job is a 100A-to-200A panel upgrade, a Tesla charger install, or a Generac standby. Nassau County electrical permits go through the town (Hempstead, North Hempstead, Oyster Bay) and PSEG LI coordinates service drops. Coastal towns like Long Beach, Point Lookout, and Atlantic Beach need corrosion-resistant meter pans and elevated service entries post-Sandy.
Suffolk County electrical projects
Suffolk jobs range from Huntington and Babylon (20 minutes from the shop) to East Northport and Smithtown (30 minutes). Houses tend to be larger: more 400A services, more whole-home generators, more detached-garage EV subpanels. Suffolk County permits go through the town electrical inspector (there are five regional offices) and PSEG LI handles the drop. Waterfront communities in Bay Shore, West Islip, and Islip need the same coastal-grade treatment as the Nassau shore.
What we bring to every town
Same licensed crew, same quality, regardless of zip code. We carry Eaton and Square D panels and the common breakers on every truck. We pull permits in every municipality we work in. We know the inspection timelines. And if your town has a historic district or architectural review board, we have dealt with those before too.
Not sure if we cover your town?
If you are on Long Island, we cover you. If you are on the East End, call first - we do the North Shore up to Southold and the South Shore up to Westhampton, but we do not travel past those.
